Nancy Gery

JCSD

Nancy Gery first visited JCSD in October of 1993 and immediately fell in love with the students and staff. Her excitement for the work that JCSD was doing, spurred her to become a major part of the school’s support network in the United States.

Over the years, Nancy has faithfully served our ministry in many ways. She led Deaf Bible School Teams to Jamaica from 1994-2004. At home, she puts her love for JCSD into action by running AMD’s sponsorship program for JCSD students, fundraising for JCSD, publishing a newsletter with updates about our students and school, and helping to organize mission groups that want to serve our campus.

"My one goal, vision and great desire has always been to reinforce the school's vision to see that each child will come to understand Who God is, that God loves each of them and has a plan for his life. I encourage anyone who is a believer to learn what special gift God has given you, practice it and then use for His Glory. I count it a privilege to continue serving Him as a member of the AMD Board and supporting the ministry of Jamaica Christian School for the Deaf." -Nancy Gery

American Ministries to the DeafAmerican Ministries to the Deaf

American Ministries for the Deaf has been involved since the beginning of our ministry, AMD was instrumental in acquiring the land that houses our current campus in Eden, Jamaica. AMD has continued to support JCSD over the years by raising awareness of our ministry, fundraising, sending out newsletters and other communication to our support base, and coordinating missions teams.

Hope and LifeHope and Life Kids

Hope and Life is a branch of Grace Outreach International. Hope and Life partners with in-country organizations and nationals to support their efforts to make a difference in their own communities. They have been our partners since 2006 and have helped us with financial and administrative support. Visit Hope and Life's website.

Mission DiscoveryMission Discovery

Mission Discovery sends short term mission trip teams to JCSD yearly, or several times a year. During their trips, they spend a week staying on campus and serving us by making repairs on existing buildings or helping us complete new project. Visit Mission Discovery's website.
